About

First things first, my name is Lycia (pronounced “Leesha”) and I LOVE my Silhouette!

I’ve been crafting since I was eight years old – maybe younger. I sew, crochet, knit, and embroider. I’ve painted, quilled, decorated cakes, and scrapbooked. And while I still enjoy many of those hobbies, nothing else has come close to creating the enthusiasm and excitement I have for my Cameo!!!

I bought my first machine in March 2013 to help save time when prepping crafts for my preschool Bible class. From the very first cut I was hooked. To say that the Silhouette has exceeded my expectations would be an understatement!!! Together we have created not only¬† a multitude of Bible class projects but we’ve also planned two weddings, made numerous gifts, designed cards, cut stencils for sandblasting, cut fabric for applique & quilts, etched jewelry, created rubber stamps, and so much more!

In April 2016 I attended the All Things Silhouette Conference in Peachtree, GA and within days of arriving back home to Texas I knew I wanted to teach others about the Silhouette so that they could love and enjoy their machines as much as I do. In September 2016 I was privileged to be in the first class of 40 women who are now Terri Johnson Creates licensed instructors.

My Silhouette family currently includes the Cameo 1, Cameo 3, Mint, and Curio. I am constantly trying new techniques, experimenting with new materials, and thinking about different ways to use my machines. I look forward to sharing the love with you!!!
