Chemica HotMark Revolution

I was first introduced to Chemica HotMark Revolution a year or so ago and have enjoyed using it on many different projects. It’s the perfect choice for this two-color HTV tea towel, which I first saw at the June 2018 Terri Johnson Creates licensing event.

Silhouette HTV Class

The beauty of HotMark Revolution is that it can be applied to a wide variety of materials including cotton, polyester, nylon, and acrylic. Depending upon your material, it works with a range of application temperatures (230°F – 285°F) and pressing times (5 seconds – 25 seconds) and can be peeled either hot or cold (nylon is HOT peel only).

It’s very thin and stretchy but adheres well, even when applied with a home iron. In fact, Chemica provides a hand ironing guide right on their website!

Chemica HotMark Revolution

HotMark is truly a “revolutionary” product but that’s not all Chemica has to offer. Be sure to visit their website to see even more varieties of HTV in solids, metallics, glitter, fashion prints, and more. You’ll be amazed!

What’s coming up this fall!

In addition to the Two-Color HTV Tea Towel Class, our Creative Cutters group will resume meeting in August. Be sure to mark your calendar so you don’t miss out on any of the fun. REMEMBER – you do NOT need to own a digital cutter to participate!!!

Next meeting:
August 21, 2018
6:30 pm
522 W. College – Carthage, TX

There is no charge to attend, but some projects will require a small supply fee.

As for the remainder of Fall 2018, I have a few more project classes in the works, including a Sparkleberry class, an “All About Monograms” class, and a weekend workshop. I’ll share more info on those when I have confirmed dates and locations. If there are any topics you’d like for me to cover in future classes or as tutorials here on the blog, be sure to leave me a comment below.
