Wondering what to do with all those little plastic thingamabobs (a.k.a. tool adapters) that came with your Cameo 4? Or how to adjust the blades that go in them? I’ve made a video for you that explains it all!

6/9/20 update – I learned today that Silhouette America has redesigned the Premium Blade to now include a fin on the blade housing. This newer model should be used with the BLACK adapter. Also, in the video you will see that I use the old-style (white body) sketch pens in my Cameo 4 adapter. I have had great success with them, but the adapters are actually designed for the newer model of sketch pens with the black body, so if you’re having trouble with the white ones, try the black ones! I will be updating the video to reflect this information.

Summary
Here’s the CliffsNotes version:
- Each color of adapter is used with a specific tool/tools (see image below).
- All blades that use the tool adapters must be manually adjusted to match the blade settings in the Silhouette Studio software. (Instructions begin at the 5:56 mark on the video.)
- Adapters must be placed in the Tool 1 holder of the Cameo 4.
